The Chicago School of Shoemaking will offer their popular in-person class to HCCC club members virtually at a reduced rate of $160.00.
In this workshop, students design and build their own sneakers. This workshop is designed to be completed in one day’s time and you will have an opportunity to assemble, decorate and show your shoes off!! The workshop will run from 1:30 - 4:00 pm. We have a minimum enrollment of 4 students and a maximum of 8. The class will be structured for a total of 2.5 hours with breaks. $160 per student includes all materials: Sneaker soles and insoles, needle and thread, leather, as well as the pattern. Students can arrange to pick up their package of materials at the school, located at 3717 N. Ravenswood Ave, #113. If you are unable to pick up your materials, you can have them shipped for an extra charge of $15.00 (price may vary due to location). You will be sent a Zoom link to the class once payment and registration has been received.
