Janet Prey is a pillar in the home sewist's community here in America and abroad. On Saturday March 8th, she will give us a presentation on her Islander Sewing techniques first developed by her Aunt Margaret Islander. Since then, Janet has broadened the business to include multiple Islander patterns, books and on-line classes, plus a sewing teacher certification program. Janet also founded the Sewing Expo in Novi, MI; the Independent Pattern Company Alliance (IPCA) certification of quality patterns; and has become the purveyor of Connie Crawford's materials.
