Our challenge this year will be a vintage 1961 suit pattern based on McCalls 5966. A two-piece suit from 1961 with single breasted short jacket and slim three-gore skits. Curved seams in jacket front with vents at lower edge. Two-piece sleeve set into drop shoulder armholes. Scoop neck or standing collar and applied bias band and bow. Jacket is lined, fronts and neck interfaced. Skirt has slight gathers at side front, darts and pleat at back, left side zipper placket.
